COLLECTING COLOSTRUM - Having a colostrum stash will help your newborn get those power nutrients as soon as possible and will also help feed babies in nicu or babies with difficulties in latching. With the approval of your care provider, you can start collecting colostrum around 36/37 weeks pregnant, starting with a gentle breast manual massage to stimulate colostrum to come out. 40 Weeks After collectors are the best option to catch those thick, sticky drops of breastmilk.
